BRAHIMOVIĆ: ONE OF THE FOOTBALL’S GREATEST

In the last half of century, we have seen hundreds of amazing players who have all left their mark in the clubs they’ve played in. Years ago, people argued whether Pele or Maradona was better, nowadays the fans argue if Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo is better, but one thing is sure, Zlatan Ibrahimović can be considered as one of the greatest players that the football game has ever seen.

His footballing career started in 1996 when he signed the first contract with Malmo, where he played from 1999 to 2001. In 2001 he signed for Ajax for €8.7 million, and in the same year, he scored a first international goal for Sweden.

Three years later he moves to Juventus for €16 million where he plays two seasons before he goes to Internazionale for €24.8 million, where he signed a four-year deal. From Inter he moved to Barcelona for €46 million in 2009 where he spent only one year, before signing for AC Milan in 2010.

In 2012 he goes to France where he signs for Paris Saint-Germain and stays there for four years. In 2016 he signed for Manchester United as a free agent and spent two seasons there. He currently plays for MLS club LA Galaxy, and he scored a brace for a complete turnaround on his debut after entering the game as a substitute.

He is also known as one of the funniest football players ever, and through the years he has said some pretty interesting things.
·  I do not need a trophy to tell myself that I am the best.
·  I can’t help but laugh at how perfect I am.
·  I think I’m like wine. The older I get, the better I am.
·  One thing is for sure: a World Cup without me is nothing to watch.
·  An injured Zlatan is a pretty serious thing for any team.
